I have a TH350 that was rebuilt by an independant repairman. It's supposed to have a shift kit and does have an adjustable vacuum module. I am using a B&M Holeshot 2000. Everything works like it should under light load. My problem comes when shifting from 1st to 2nd under power. I have to get way out of the gas before it will shift. Even then there is still there is a lag before getting to 2nd gear, and it doesn't feel "crisp" like I thought it should. It happens either when shifting manually or letting the automatic work. There is no problem shifting from 2nd to 3rd. It doesn't appear to be vacuum related. I have adjusted the vac. mod. in and out with no positive solution to my problem however, it does change the shift points like it should. I really don't want to pull this thing again so any help would be great. I wrote about this earlier but lost it somewhere. Again, thanks again for the help. Rhat

Yes, I think so. I did it the way the book says to. It downshifts right when and I want it to. Rhat

Do u have the vacuum hooked to the right source?
If u leave the vacuum modulater vacuum line off completely the tranny should think "full throttle & hold the shifts long & hard". Otherwisw the guy needs to warranty his work as something inside isn't right
