I've been thinking how easy it was to change gears in my buddy's sprint car. Is anybody using any quick change rearends in thier Camaro's? It would be great to throw in strip gears the night before a race. The real question is cost!! What do you think?

A quick change robs more HP. On chassis dyno, it robbed 14 more HP than 9" ford. NASCAR mandates local weekly late model stock to run quick change or everyone would run 9".

I know there are several different types of quick change rear ends. The one my buddy has is down right HUGE and HEAVY. I tease him all the time and say he will have to install three tubs, two for his tires and one for the pumpkin on that rearend. He plans on putting it in his 68 Camaro.
