I am trying to replace the heating plenum door seals on my 67. The soft seal kit says to remove the crank arms for access to the doors. How is this done? The pivots look spot welded or pressed to the door hinges. Has anyone attempted this?

The bottom side of the crank is just a pin with a head on it that pulls out, then you take a pin punch and drive the hinge pin out from the bottom up. Its not easy but I have done it and thats how its done.
