I have a powerglide in good working condition that I am pulling from a car this weekend. Does this have any value? Any guess as to what (if anything) I should ask for this? Thanks for the help

I've paid any where from $120 USD for a rebuilt to $10 USD for a spare one to use as parts.

Depends on how much the buyer is willing to pay.

I guess it is next to worthless. I will give it away to the person who bought the engine from the car

It is NOT next to worthless! You will find most often that people are paying a minimum of $50 and many times $100 is the figure needed to buy a decent core. They are getting much harder to find in places like the midwest, where stock car guys eat them up too. Do not give it away! If nothing else, tuck it in a corner and hang onto it for some day down the road.

Thanks for the advice. My problem is really that I am running out of corners to stuff things in that I may need some day. The way things go around here is that I keep things for years, decide I am never going to use it, and sell it for next to nothing, or just give it away. Sure enough, a while later I find and use for the part just tossed
