Just curious, has anyone built a muncie with the new m22 wide gears available now? And if you were going to back a 600ftlb BB with a four speed, what gear box would you use? Auto is out of the question and the ability to street drive/shift is imperative, also 4 gears only. Any thoughts
Thanks Rich

Iron case ST-10 2.64 or 2.88 low. Will definately be the least expensive. From there the price goes up very rapidly.

If you get any traction at all, nothing will live behind a 600 lb/ft big block. Old M22's were used behind LS6 and W30 and 455HO cars, These cars made 500-510 lb/ft but only had F70 or F60 tires.

A buddy of mine had a hopped up BB in a '68 or '69 Chevelle that was backed with the 3.41(?) Saginaw four speed and he liked it but he did admit that he was always in the higher gears before he hooked. I figure that the only reason it lived was b/c he couldn't hook in first or the sucker would have exploded!!! pdq67
