Is there a cross over Chevrolet model that uses the same pinion yoke as a 1969 Z28 Camaro with the original 4speed trans & 4:10 rear end. I'm building another replacement rear end and need a pinion yoke. I'm trying to keep my car on the road while I build a replacement rear end!

Any info will be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

It should be the standard 1310 series yoke. They run about $85.

The original 1969 4 speed diff flange takes a 1310 series joint, and the part number is 3996118. It uses straps and bolts to retain the u-joint. I think that it is now discontinued, i got the last one according to GM.
It should be availiable from "Spicer" through any driveline shop.
The flange with the bigger 1330 series u joint came on Corvettes from 69 up, and will fit the Camaro pinion.
I am not sure if turbo 400 equipped Camaro,s used this flange.

OK, so I understand, the Spicer series 1310 is the u-joint or the yoke ? And the standard 12-bolt yoke uses the 3.25" u-joint. graemlins/clonk.gif

Spicer u joints are listed as 1310, 1330 and 1350 series. This is the size of the joint. Yokes are made to fit one of these series joints. The car 12 bolt rear ends used 1310 series joints, which is the smallest of the three. The yoke is available through the after market.
