We are about to get a new track, and I was wondering where to get an inexpensive helmet that complies with the rules, sa00 dot snell approved? Thanks

Don't get too caught up in finding a "cheap" helmet. graemlins/clonk.gif

You only have one head, & when it comes to lids, you get what you pay for (graphics & logos aside).

Yes, Public Safety Personnel have been known to pick up helmets that have heads in them!!!

Oh, STOP with the "helmets with heads in them" baloney! I've heard those urban myths all my life! As a motorcyclist, I've heard all the "uncle Fred" stories there are. BS.
The point about going to a motorcycle shop is valid. All the helmets have stickers showing the certifications. Most major brand helmets are certified. Stay away from the knock-offs (no pun intended) and cheapies. Arai and Shoei are the best IMO.
