currenty have a peg leg 2.73 r/e with mild 350/Th350 combo in my 68 camaro. Considering upgrading to 3.55 posi. What kind of cost am i looking at including labor? How much of a difference would i notice in power off the line? I can just spin the tires now from a standing start if i stomp on it.

I'm assuming that this is a 8.2 10 bolt. The 3.55 gears are about $200 and a new Eaton posi is about $385. You will also need an installation kit, which is $90 or $125 with axle bearings. Labor should be around $200 to $250.

68, I had the same problem but with 2.73 posi and while fun on the highway (80mph in 1st) not much fun at the track. I went to Freddie for help (3.73's and new Eaton) and did the install myself with Freddies guidance. I would suggest the 3.55's unless your into racing.
