Does any one know the length of the driveshaft for a 67' with a 4 speed? I need to have one made and want to be sure motor currently sits where it is supposed to be to avoid headaches down the line.Maybe points of measure? Last but not least are the lengths different for 67,68 and 69. Thanks a bunch

NO, but some guy's say they are!

And I am not saying they are wrong but rather, I have never heard of a car with a different length driveshaft in it that was stock..

One thing I do know is that you can mix and match, both rubber and frame motor mounts to move our motors forwards, backwards and sideways some so just maybe somebody mounted a BB using 6-banger mounts and moved the motor back just enough that the driveshaft would need to be shortened say an inch or so??

This can be verified by not being able to hardly remove the bellhousing bolts b/c the motor is almost too close to the firewall!!! And fits installing the distributor.....
