My weep tube at the top of the tranny was dry and cracked off, does this go into the main transmission area, or is it a vent only at the top. Can it be replaced without dis-assembly?

Been a while since I had one of these apart, but if I remember correctly they come in from the front of the case, so the front pump would need to be removed. I would not worry about it myself, it is just a vent.

the plastic style vent tube on the 700/4L60 trans is the same piece as a T-400.

The pump must come out to replace the tube correctly.

I would leave it alone
