I'm trying to get the engine back into my car this weekend. At the last minute it looks like I need a clutch disc. For all these years I've been living with the original 10.4 clutch. the parts stores only stock an 11" unit.

Can the 10.4 be switched to an 11 inch assembly without changing the flywheel?

probably not. if you have the small flywheel, definitley not. can't they order you the proper 10.4" clutch and have it "tomorow"? parts stores always seem to be able to have the parts you need "today" in "tomorrow".

I suspected the flywheels were different. They can have a clutch for me by "tomorrow". I guess I'm going to have to wait. :(
