I had my clutch assembly pivot ball (engine block side) come completely out of the block. I tightened everything back down (both pivot balls), adjusted my clutch pedal play, and now the clutch rattles when it's not pushed in. It didn't do this before, but the pedal may have been loose for quite a long time (a couple of years since the previous owner). Any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like the rubber bumper under the dash is gone. Adjusting the clutch caused the top of the pedal to touch metal where the bumper would normally be. All speculation of course, could be some where else.
