Need some insight on this car...as I was driving my RS Z this morning I came across a first gen sitting on the street..I went around the block and low and behold..a 68 RS SS ..the owner heard my car and came out..it's for sale...he wants 25k
396/325 HP..fiber optics,8 track , air ,console with guages, automatic...all kinds of options..not up to speed on the 68's. He wants 25k . It is all original..it is an LA car with all the AIR exaust stuff still intact...what is this car worth..it is a nice clean original non molested driver. Owner bought it for 3,500 in 1980.
I am going back with my camera to take some pictures and write down all the options.

If it is in average shape or better and the numbers check out it is worth 30K plus. If you dont want it I will pay you a finders fee and wire him the cash Monday. No joking.

I bought the car. If I decide not to keep it I will let you know. The car is nice and is perfect for California summers..when and if we get one again:)Supossedly the car stickered for $5,900.00 new..ouch!It's a Van Nuys car so maybe the trunk sticker will be in place....

The three LOS 67 & 68 cars I have owned before did not have build sheets on the tanks. I have never run into anyone thats found one on anything other than a 69. Maybe someone else here has? I will send you an email with photos of a BB 68 RS/SS car I owned with similar features.
