I am starting the search for 3.55 gears today for a 12 bolt posi-trac. Who has the best price and quality? Thanks for your help as always.

The three most popular gears are U.S. Gear, Motive Gear and Richmond. All three make quality gear sets and are comparitively priced. The Richmonds are noted for being a little noisier than the others. I have a set of Richmond 3.55's and an Eaton posi unit in the 69 and I have not noticed any noise differential (pun intended) from other gears. It may be that I am just old and can't hear anymore.
