This is on a 89 Nissan Pathfinder with over 300k miles on it, belonging to my sister and brother in law. Its an atuomatic, and when its cold outside, if he jumps in it and starts it up, he said it is very slow to up/down shift. It shifts automatically still when put in D, but he said its very sluggish. Any ideas?
Besides the ill tempered cold tranny and the A/C not working, this Pathfinder is in amazing shape mechanically, amazing with as many miles as it has on it. Nissan/Toyota must know what there doing in the engine department.
