Anyone have an idea on where I can get 1 piece of shifter linkage? I have a '69 factory shifter with 1 piece of linkage missing. I searched Carlisle and the internet. I don't realy want to spend the $150 for a full set as I only need 1 piece. I saw a lot of shifters without linkage at Carlisle. The must be a lot of linkage out there with out shifters...somewhere!

Check out ebay, they always have linkages going for pretty cheap.

I brought this post back to let everone know what I did. I found Pete Serio at www.precisionpontiac.com (http://www.precisionpontiac.com) He let me know I had the wrong linkage and got me the correct set and a mounting bracket for a lot less than it would have cost in the repro catalogs. I highly recommend his service. He seems to have everything and especially shifter knowledge. He even sent instructions and new hardware graemlins/hurray.gif Check it out!!
