Will the 168-tooth work, or just the 153-tooth?

From what I've found from replacement clutch sizes, I'm guessing the 3rd genie 305/T-5 used the 153-tooth flywheel.

I've read that the older manual trans set ups needed an iron nose starter to clear the bulge in the bellhousing. Is that also true regarding the T-5 bellhousing?
