I have the SUmmit universal. I welded two pieces of 2" angle iron, each about 3" wide, to the support. This supports the weight. Then I used 1" rubber corks from the hardware store to mount it at four places. I put 2 more 2" rubber corks on the angle iron to reduce shock on the bottom.
I used the 16" Perma cool elec fan. My engine gets real hot in city traffic w/o a shroud though. I'm looking into that now. Hope this helps

I put a 3 core in my Camaro from Rick's. That was the easyest thing I have ever put into my car. It bolted right in the stock holes and took about 10 minutes. My car droped about 30 deg. on the hottest day! Yea, it's not aluminum but, it does the job with a stock look! They even have four row. The best thing about it, it was way cheaper. Cheap, easy, and good looking - heck my wife only holds the good looking portion of that! :D :D :D

I don't think that the universal radiators have a trans cooler, so you'll have to buy and mount one in front of the radiator. The only other option is to buy one of their custom radiators that are like factory for $500+.

Consider a PRC radiator from www.streetrodstuff.com/Products. (http://www.streetrodstuff.com/Products.) I have sent no less than a hundred people over there without complaint. High quality and service for less than $400! Big 1" twin-tubed crossflow is just the ticket.

You can give them exactly what you want for your applications. Email DickZ at dick@streetrodstuff.com and get the ball rolling. They look sweeeeeeeeeet too!
