How do you know the proper way to mount the 7 blade fan on a clutch unit? In other words,do the round rivit heads go on the radiator side with the crushed rivit ends facing the block or visa versa? Does it matter? Thanks

Don't let me down people, this may sound strange, but I hate to put it on the wrong way and have to to a de-do. You know how Murphy's law works.

On a #772 fan, the tips of the blades curve toward the front of the car. The blades themselves are riveted onto the front side of the bracket that hold them so the crushed side of the rivet is toward the back.
