The camaro I will probably be getting has something my dad is worried about. The engine fan will start running as soon as the key is turned, but the engine isn't running. It works fine, but it just starts up as soon as the key is turned one click. It stays running with the engine running. Is this something I should be worried about? Or should I just leave it be?

What's the MO on your car. A late model computer controlled vehicle I presume? Could be anything from a custom wiring job to a bad ECM. The particular model year would help narrow it down a bit.

In general, electric fans should only come on when the engine temperature reaches a predetermined value. One exception is when the AC is on, in which case they run continuously AFAIK.
