So can someone tell me about what I am looking at as far as price on a vintage air system for my 67? I dont have alot of cash but just gets too hot in texas to drive my car around in the summertime. I hate seeing it sit in the garage that much and not able to enjoy it. Where is the best place to buy the system?

Thanks
Zack

Zack you can order the Sure Fit system (which is what I plan to buy) directly from Vintage Air. If Memory serves it is $1095. Not sure if shipping is included or not- but they are located in San Antonio. I imagine the kit could be picked up at their location.

Zack,

There was a complete, never used VA kit on Ebay a couple of weeks ago that went for $700. Might want to keep an eye out there.

Other than that, Scott is right the kits are over $1000 and not discounted as far as I can tell.

I bought my Vintage Air through Classic Industries when they had their 40% off sale in the spring. I bought it for about $800, and it was drop shipped directly from Vintage Air.

God I love this site, just saved my skinny wallet $300. Thanks for the tip! graemlins/thumbsup.gif

How did you find out about the sale at the time.

Classic Industries sends me notices as I have purchased from them before. They just had a summer sale with 40% off. Normally they will kill you with thier shipping and handling charges, but since I ordered over $1000 - it was free. My advice is to order a small amount, bite the "handling" B.S. and get on their mailing list. I will let you know if I here of a 40% off sale.
