How much coolant should my system hold? That's complete system antifreeze and water. I have a 350, manual trans, stock 21" radiator. I have about 2.5 gallons in it and it seems to be fool. Doesn't seem to be enough since I drained the engine and flushed it before adding new unless it still had some in the heater core. Thanks

Unless you pulled a lower freeze plug on the engine there is still about a gallon of water in the block and maybe a quart in the Heater core. Beleive the AMA specs for cooling capacity is either 15 or 16 quarts.
