i currently have the stock 350 engine & trans out of my 67 camaro A/C car. I want to change the blower motor now . Is there an EASY procedure to do this now that the A/C cpmressor is out of car as well the engine?? Do NOT want to Scratch, chip the fender paint or the Detailed inner skirt!!

Rick, welcome to the site, Do a search on this subject, It has been discussed alot before, I believe you can find your answer there, while you're at it, you might want to change your heatercore as well...good luck ...Mike

The only easy way that I know of is if the front clip is off the car!

I installed vintage air in my car this summer and I removed the heater box and blower motor without removing the fender or the inner fender. I loosened the inner fender and just worked my arm in there until I could get every bolt. My wrists were swollen and slightly sprained from contorting them to get at the bolts!!! It was flat horrible, but I got em out!!!

I've seen a couple of camaros that looked like someone had cut a chunk out of the inner fender and then rigged some clip nuts to replace the cutout. One guy told me that was the accepted dealer practice back in the day if the blower motor had to be replaced.....

I know this is goes without saying but I'll say it anyway.... test the new blower motor before putting everything back together. I didn't test mine and I got to pull my fender back off to replace a brand new defective blower motor. Lots of beer went into that project.
