I currently own a 1968 camaro SS all original with a 396 BB. Currently it has a stock 3 core radiator. I want to replace that with a stock 4 core. Will it fit in without any modifications? It does not have A/C and it is a 4sd.

thanks,

Pre 70's Rad should fit ( 70's used the retainer plate on the top not a Bolt in configuration ) but if im not mistaken Big Blocks had a Curved neck for Camaros, so a straight neck 4 core may be something that would need Modification.

Stock 23" 4 core will fit fine. They are available from Ricks (made by US Radiator), Ground Up and just about all the resto catalogs. Bolts up to the stock mounts and looks stock.
The curved neck was for the HD BB cars (427, etc) and with AC. Stock non AC had staight neck.
It's a bit tight getting the stock clutch fan back in, but it fits.
