I'm thinking about adding a Vintage Air system to my 69 small block but I'd really want the compressor on the pass. side. With their kit are you able to mount it on either side? Or does anyone know of an inexpensive way to mont it on the pass. side. Thanks John

I have a 69 sb Camaro. I am putting the compressor on the pass. side. I bought the Concept One pulley system and that is how it is set up. If you use the brackets supplied by VA they will probably work with you if you need to excahnge the mounting brackets for the correct ones.
Maybe HOTRODSRJ will chime in with a picture or do a search for Concept One and look at the pictures he posted there. Check out where he rounted his hoses, I did the same. It makes for a really clean look.
Good Luck,
Guy

When you order, they will ask what side you want it on, then send appropriate brackets, they are Alan grove brackets.

I believe Vintage Air also includes the different A/C lines etc. I think the 67 and 68 Camaro's had the compressor on the passenger side. They however, are of the short waterpump variety. Have you switched your alternator to the drivers side ? Vintage Air also needs to know if you have accessory holes in your heads, so you can get the correct, Alan Grove brackets for it.
