Would anyone have a picture or a diagram that shows the firewall cutout for a 69? I putting air in using an original type setup.

I might have a photo of my 69 firewall when I was restoring my evaporator. I think there is a large rectangular hole where the suitcase goes. I'll see if I can find the photo and post it this week.

The filler piece I made was about 8" x5 1/4" in size, if that helps.

Hi....I am restoring a 69 camaro and trying to do some work on the ac. I have found out through tracking the vin # that it was originally a 6 cylinder and now has a 396 in it...this has caused the space for the ac unit to be shrunken.....does anyone know if a smaller ac unit is offered?
Any help that someone could give would be greatly appreciated

There are different suit cases used on big block vs. small block cars. Is that what you needed to know ?
