I have a hissing sound (vacuum leak) at the A/C control switch. It only occurs when the A/C selector is in the MAX or HEAT position. In the VENT position, there is no leak.

I just replaced the switch with a new one after having the same problem in the MAX mode.

Is the switch bad? Its supposed to be new.

Any thoughts?

Any chance you can look under the dash and spritz some dish soap solution on that 3 piece rubber vac grommet? That might show you if its leaking there.
If not there, then one of the hoses leading up to it maybe. I have a hiss there too but wont work on it till spring, its -10 outside here lol
