I have just replaced a six cyl with a 350 small block. the six did not have a fan shroud, I bought a fan shroud for the small block. My question is all I was given for mounting this shroud was one bolt on top center and one clip one each side near the bottom, is this all that is supposed to hold the shroud in place it seems a little shaky. any suggestions or good info. oh yeh this is a 68 camaro.....thanks

If the 68 mounts as the 69 does, then, yes, that's all you need. It will hold firm, no problem.
Take the two clips and size them for attachment to the bottom of the shroud. DON"T SLIP THEM ON. Just size them. You will probably need to open them up a little so when the time comes, the shroud will slip in and dig in. Once you size each clip, mark the clip so you know which end expects to recieve the shroud vs. slid over the radiator bracket. Trust me, mark them. You won't be able to tell later when your sweating bullets over your 600 dollar Be-Cool Radiator and Joe Bozo, your best friend, just let the shroud slip while he's drinking his Bud and it's dragging against the fins. (Ask my why I know this. No, never mind, don't ask.)
With the shroud hanging over the fan, slip the radiator in to place. Be very, very careful not to bend fins. This is a two person job. It is best done with three. One at each side of the radiator, one managing the shroud. The shroud will want to move and gouge the radiator. Like I said, be careful.
With the radiator in place and attached, move the shroud to the radiator. The bottom lip of the shroud needs to go under the radiator, yet the two "tangs" need to go up and in on to the left and right bracket slots. This is a warm day thing or hit the shroud with heat before hand so the shroud will move as it needs to.
You have to bend the bottom lip of the shroud up, holding it tight against the bottom radiator, tipped away a bit until you clear the slots. Push it in and let it slide down in the slots. You're almost there now.
Take the clips, open them up ever so slightly and mount them to the _inside_ of the holding brackets.
It can be argued that the clips should be in place first and do it in one motion. I did it in two parts cause I only had one set of clips and I wanted to size things up as I went.
Have the top bracket out of the way while you're doing all this. You'll have to remove the hood latch mech to get to the bolt backs - (if I remember correctly.)

I made L brackets for the lower part of the shroud and drilled the shroud to mount it with 10/24 stainless machine screws & nylon self locking nuts. Can't be seen from the top but I look to bullet proof stuff, I drive my car not show it. Not original but it's user friendly.

I would make sure you have a least a 3 core radiator or you 350 is going to run hot in the summer. I had a 2 core in my 69 camaro and was running 210 with a SB shroud and 6 blade clutch fan.
