Has anyone installed a late model type radiator support system. I'm talking about the type with rubber feet in a bottom bracket and rubber lined side brackets that clamp the radiator in place. Just seems like the original mounting method puts some stress on the radiator. One of the side brackets on mine came unsoldered. So I'm debating what to do. I was thinking about seeing if I could transplant a late model bracket setup and install a radiator without mounting flanges. What do you think?

Dave, I've seen it done on a 67, using a BeCool rad with 2nd gen cushions and upper rad support. It seemed to work well.

He just made simple brackets for the bottom cushions.
