i'm putting my 69, back together and need a new radiator... I don't want to foot the bill for aluminum, so i'm after a good steel one... question is what core size? I would assume bigger is better, i can get a 2 3 or 4 core radiator, will all 3 fit? Or are there some things i would have to do to make a 4 core fit in? My car is MT with no AC. Do i even need a 4 core? I guess my long question is simply what do i need? 375hp, fuel injected 350.
thanks,

A 3 or 4core should be fine. I definitely would not put in a 2 core. I just bought a big block 4 core 23 inch radiator and big block fan shroud from Ricks 1st generation for about $260. I bought the non original style from US radiator, but it mounts in the factory holes. You could also buy a small block 4 core 21 inch small block radiator for $209. The 3 cores were not any cheaper. I bought the big block, because I don't know what size engine I'll be using in the future. So far I haven't had any problems. My car originally had a sb 2 core and my car ran about 210 degreees. I took my car out yesterday about 40 degrees outside and she didn't move past 150. I think I should be fine in the summer months. My brother has a 3 core behind a 350 hp sb and he runs 180 all day long.

exactly the info i needed, i was also looking at Ricks radiators, the 3 cores were like 159, vs 209 for 4 core... think i'll go with the 3 core..
