Anyone know the actual dimensions of the 3.8L Taurus fan? Wonder how it would fit in a first gen. Neals69SS Apr 6th, 04, 07:31 PM Eric I found this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2472307921&category=33600) that says the dimensions are around 24"x19"x4" if it is the same fan. The article says the taurus fan pulls about 2,000cfm how does that compare to other fans output like the mark VIII or lt-1 setups? HOTRODSRJ Apr 7th, 04, 12:56 AM Most quality 16" fans pull at least 2100cfms at around 20 to 23 amps. I would guess that the Taurus fan at 40 amps is more than the author's guess of 2000cfms based on wattage alone. Maybe as high as 3300cfms. The Mark VIII fan is very similar in design and current draw (35+amps) and produces a whopping 4000cfms! |
