Have only read topics in the past, hope i get this right. Need help installing new heater hoses over the barb fittings. I have tried ice on the fittings, heat on the hose and lube at the same time and still cannot get the hose on the condensor.

Try some silicone spray on the inside of the hose and on the barb fitting. It should slide right on.

Yes, hoses & barbs can be a bear to get on. I'd use A/C compressor oil on the inside of the hose.
