Just what do you need to put a recirculating "catch can" on a '69?
How many hoses and where do they go?
Also, do you need a differant cap.
Found a can at a garage sale. It's a "jazz" can that the guy brought from Jegs and didn't use.
It has a fitting on the bottom and also one at the top with a hose coming from it.
Do I use the bottom as the inlet and the top is just to vent?
Thanks in advance.

Use a radiator cap marked for recovery system use.
run the radiator overflow hose to the bottom of the recovery container, some cans have an external hose fitting at the bottom, others have a hole at the top but the hose sticks down into the bottom, so coolant will be drawn into the radiator when it cools. Vent the recovery container, if it has a hose, run the hose to below the radiator level.

Almost any vented container can be used for recovery.
