I'm currently in the process of updating my z-28 from a TPI 350(bored .30 over, NOS cheater system) to a supercharged 383 stroker, I've got the 400 crank and the supercharger is on its way from colorado, my z-28 came with 250hp stock, i was told it had 325hp when i bought it, but I have had continuous radiator problems with it since I bought it in October of last year. I'm afraid to even race anybody in the quarter for fear of overheating my motor (has happened once already) the radiator is stock and it might be fine for this motor w/o the supercharger, but will it keep up when i do upgrade to a supercharger? I need to know if anybody has any suggestions for a different radiator that gets the job done and wont leave me scraping for pennies to pay for it. Lemme kno, i'm up for ideas.

Absolutely NOT! You are adding hp and hp requires fuel and spent fuel generates more heat and thus you will need more cooling power.

I scratching my head over your comment that you already overheat when racing the quarter?? I am not familiar with the stock radiator in your car but indicates some hidden issue that should be figured out first. This could be a water pump or even a head gasket, but none the less post more info here and let's have a go at it.

But, its time to step up to a highflow water pump, heavy duty aluminum radiator and big time fan for insurance!

I agree with HOTRODSRJ I think you have other issues at hand.Anytime you add performance parts to an engine you have to consider what else is it going to effect and make the proper replacements or adjustments there,I mean you can't just buy a supercharger and bolt it on and expect a longlived, reliable ride,There is way more to it,more compression, more heat build up at the engine, more airflow, more fuel, more exaust etc
