Do the under-dash non-A/C heat & defrost assy’s interchange between a '69 Camaro and a '69 Nova? Both cars are non-A/C.
How about on the engine side of the firewall?

graemlins/thumbsup.gif I am pretty sure they are the same. I think I got mine out of a early or mid 70's nova or some other A body car. I think the only difference is the back lighting is not green like the 69. Sorry I thought you meant the heater controls after reading the post again I think you mean the heater box under the dash. I am not sure about that.

I do mean the heater box and etc. under the dash. I checked the '69 Nova this afternoon. I am purchasing from the guy the under-dash heater box, the defroster "Y" duct, the air diffuser (directs the heat to the floor area), the heater control (looks pretty good) & cables, and the exterior firewall box w/ motor etc. These parts need a little maintenance and paint, but really look pretty good.
Also the shoulder belt clips, seatbelt to floor bolts, upper rear shock mounts, and any other little part I can glean from this Nova.
The good news is that I am purchasing these parts for less than the heater control that I bought off of eBay a few weeks ago.
Considering that this Nova does not have the AstroVet system, will the heater control cables be what I need for my Camaro?

Just for the record, I have been informed by a reliable source that the Nova non-A/C climate control system will not work in the corresponding year of Camaro. I am just glad that I learned this prior to buying the Nova parts.
The heater control, on the other hand, will interchange. That's a good thing, since the vertical sliding knobs were only used in the '69 model year of Camaro, but a few years in the Nova.

On the contrary, I have learned that the Nova heater box does interchange with the '69 Camaro, but the defrost duct "Y" does not easily fit.
The heater box w/ fan on the firewall side interchanges also.
