Can anyone tell me here the sending unit(t-stat) for the fans on a 1996 camaro 6cy.

Welcome to the Club! GM ECM controls the fans to turn on, I believe, at 220*F, or there about. The coolant sensor, the two-wire one usually located on the thermostat housing or close to it, tells the ECM how hot the coolant is and conversely, The ECM turns on the fan via a relay.

However, when DEF or A/C is selected, I would think both fans would come on, also an ECM function.
