I had my back seat out the other day and I notice a lag square cut out in the center of the seatback panel. Was this orginally for a speaker?

Has anyone monunted on there? It would be a bit mufled but I bet with a enough power it would work.

Nope, convertibles had two little cardboard boxes attached to the back of the seat support that held speakers that faced up into the convertible well. They work fine with the top up, but are pretty useless with the top down.

I believe the hole your asking about is the one where the power top pump goes. All the convertibles have them.
