I want to find out how many convertibles were made in '68 and how many of them came out originally as British Racing Green.

cgeck camaros.org for both #'s. The cross reference won't be there tho, convertibles, and green camaros, but not green camaro convertibles.

In 1968 there were 3,513 6 cyl. converts produced. 16,927 8 cyl. converts produced. No idea on the colors though.

Camaros.org estimates that 9.7% of all 68 Camaros were British Green. This would make it the 3rd most popular color behind Matador Red (11.8%) and Lemans Blue (10.7%). http://www.camaros.org/exterior.shtml#ColorPercentages

So there were an estimated 1983 British Green 1968 Camaro convertibles built (.097 x 20440).

Remember though, this is only an estimate based on the numbers the CRG has collected.

Unless the fact that british racing green was only available for 6 months of production was taken into account to arrive at the 9.7% number, BRG would be the most popular color in 68 with roughly 19.4 percent of all cars made after 1/1/68 being british racing green. Still the total number of cars would be the same.

That's odd. I've never seen a BRG Camaro and I've had quite a few..Seems that Butterut Yellow is everywhere. I prefer Sequoia Green over BRG.
