How do I install the 1967 vent glass vertical weather stripping? It is a long strip that goes down inside the door. I am pretty sure I have to remove the door glass, am I right?. Do I have to glue the strip down and what type of adhesive do you use? Also is the glass simply attached with the one bolt towards the door opening? I had posted this in the interior forum but didn't get a reponse, since I have a convertible I though maybe you guys would help.

I did mine last week. All I did was lube the back with spray silicone and slide it down in the door and push it in the channel with the door panel off.It helps to roll the window half up and push down on the strip while rolling the window down at the same time.

That worked great thanks again....now I don't have to drive the whistle box anymore. The only additional thing I had to do was pull the weather stripping down from inside the door once I reached a certain point where it would not go down from pushing on the top and rolling down the window.
