Is anyone coming up to Michigan for the Woodward Dream cruise August 16th? If so, the Eastern Michigan Camaro Club has rented out Milan Dragway on Thursday night. The cost is $30 to race your car. ALL spectators are free. The gates open at 5:15 PM and racing starts at 6PM and goes until 9 PM. It is open to all makes and models. Please respond here or send me an email if you would like to attend. I need to tell the track how many cars are coming out.
Thanks

Milan dragway is about 45 minutes south of you on US-23. If you go to www.milandragway.com (http://www.milandragway.com) they have direction to the track.

camaroracerlt1,
I just moved to Michigan from Ohio I feel bad for ya'....... but someone has to give that state some class right? J/K it's a college football thang! :D GO BUCKS!
Anyway I really would like to come up to this cruise someday.... although I have heard contrasting descriptions.... one guy said it is a huge show that takes up an entire town while the other guy I talked to said it is baically a huge cruise through a couple small towns.....
Any feedback? :(

Rich,
It is a 16 Mile long cruise/show. From the intersection of Woodward and 8 Mile Rds (Detroit) to Pontiac, MI. There are cars parked in every spot/ lawn/ parking lot along Woodward the whole way. You see every car imaginable from the pure stock show room cars to all out blown alcohol cars. Lots of rare Detroit Iron comes out of the wood work for this cruise. 30K-40K cars and 1.5 million people.
