If the build sheet is located on top the gas tank, does the tank need to be dropped to access it? 68 Camaro

On cali. built cars you MAY find it above the tank, and yes, you will need to drop the tank to ind it, most likely it will be a wad of rotted paper... Try popping the rear seat out and looking there, sometimes (ohio cars) a build sheet (or two) will be stuffed in the springs there..
