I'm on the west coast and would like to get a better idea of how good a car is that's for sale in Texas. I don't have the time to drive or fly out there and wanted to know if anyone has used a pre sale inspection company to view a car for them. I got burned on my last site unseen buy and don't want it to happen again. The person I'm dealing with seems like a stand up guy but I just can't afford to buy another basket case. The car has also been painted and since he bought it just to sell it I want to make sure that major damage isn't lurking behind the paint. I'm looking to buy a rolling chassis 68 (the car i have now has good running gear and rebuilt front end etc but the shell and doors are beyond affordable repair)
I would even pay someone on this site to go look if they were close enough and knew what to look out for.
