well, i found a 69 camaro. its got a bbc 477 with a th400. its got a 10 bolt with 3.73 or 3.55's. he says it has rust by the pillar posts. trunk and floor pan are sopposedly solid. its got a cracked windshield. original treen interior still in car. he says he has corvette seat and new fenders that will come with car. he also said that he just bought a carbon fiber cowl hood that will also come with the car which i thought was strange because i never saw a 69 with a carbon fiber hood. oh well, it just comes with it. all for $2500.00. oh, by the way, the drive train is not in the car. it will need to be towed. so, what do you guys think? i will be looking at the car at 4 today. i hope im not wating my time. hdo you think the price is right from what he described?

ok. i went up and checked out the 69 camaro. i put a deposit and we agreed on the 2500.00. its a very solid 69. crawled under the car and looked under the original carpet and there was no sign of rust. checked the trunk pan and it too is preety solid except for a 1 inch long and 1/4 wide rust hole by the rear bumper support on the inside of the pan. the rear quarter very solid. it still wears the original paint. even still has the original am/fm radio inside the car, though it is just laying on the rear seat. original lt green steering wheel. dash is also very sold with zero rust around the bottom of windshield. below the rear window has minor rust holes. it used to be a vinyl(sp) top but it has been removed and the roof is also very solid with zero rust. it has original doors with the factory sticker still attached. the rear panels are also still there. the front fenders have dents but he is getting in replacement fenders that are supposed to be in great shape. he is also including a carbon fiber cowl hood. the 454 was not a chevy. i think it was a caddy motor with the distrib. in the front and a/c compressor was on the top front of the intake. oh, the doors still pretty much align with even gaps.
so, what do you guys think? oh yeah, its an automatic and it still has the orignal console that has no cracks.
i will post pics when i pick it up on monday.
