anyone out there have some good pictures or ideas on how to mount the head unit inside the glove box, i really dont need my glovebox anyway, and i do not want to cut up my dash, thanks - derek

Steve has a real nice setup for his cd player, I made one for a cassette player out of plywood & covered it with carpet it looks pretty good & was easy to make Just click on the link below to my hobbystage, I think that I put a Pic on there.

thanks for the replies, gave me ideas i needed, got me started, i went off of mccorry's design, except i made mine out of a scrap sheet of aluminum, and mine actually is the glove box itself, because on the '67-8 you would have to cut through the original box because of the depth of the head unit, now i can mount the cd player to one side,ill leave one side uncut,and mount the head unit to one side, in case i want to put gauges or switches in so i dont have to cut up my dash.
I posted a picture of it on my yahoo site(sig.), its on the second row down, second over.
