I was thinking about attempting to replace my headlights on my 96 Camaro Z28 with the headlights from a 98 Camaro. Does anyone know if this will work?

it will work- but you gotta put on the whole front end- at least the nose and hood are different, and the fenders might be different, as well. the wiring might also be different, and might not even use the same plugs where the harness from the nose plugs into the body.
it might be easy, and it might be a pain.

It can be done and has been done a number of times. You must replace the entire front clip, including the shrouding on the underside
