Does anybody know what it is? I know I know, I should have headers.... I KNOW!! But that thing is rattling and I havent had the money for headers, and its driving me insane.

ITs on the passenger side exhaust manifold between the manifold and Y pipe. ITs a littel waste gate thing. I want to know which way I should wire it so that it is always open.

Heat riser! It has a bimetal spring and a weight. You want to wire it open with the weight pointing down.

You might want to think about replacing it with a spacer if you don't need it. Go here and click on "Heat Riser":
