I was wondering if a set of 68-72 nova hood hinges would interchange on a 69 camaro? I know alot of parts can interchange but was wondering if the hood hinges would?

Nova hood hinges look almost the same but they are not. The fender mounting bolt center to center dimensions are a little longer on the nova hinge.
The hinges are still currently availiable for 69 camaro,s from GM, but they are expensive. ( over $100 ea, i ordered a set last week for a friend.)

Could you lengthen the mounting holes or redrill new ones to make it fit? Got a change to buy some show chrome hinges and really would like to use them without too much trouble.

Check eBay for the correct ones. They are on there quite often. The fenders are reinforced with nuts welded on from behind. Sounds like a lot of work to make Nova ones fit.

You could drill holes in the Nova ones but they would look quite obvious when someone see's another set of holes through them that has body color under it. I think you would be better to use the right ones and forego the chrome ones. Besides, factory is in these days and chrome is out.

I think 67 Chevelle is a bolt-in.
