just got 2 454's- one complete with a busted rod, and a newer reman shorblock that has never been fired.
the intake on the complete engine is aluminum and has all GM markings- even the "snowflake" in front of the carb pad. part number (or casting number) behind the carb is 6269318, and it has a dual carb pattern, with the spread bore stud holes set back about 1/4" from the square bore stud holes. it has rectangular ports.
it looks pretty tall- i'd say a good inch or 2 taller than a cast iron 396 manifold i've got.
what's it from , is it any good, and what's it worth?
