This never happens but this time it did.
I bought some Dynomax Ceramic coated headers from Summit. They fit great, no hitting on the steering box or anything. They looked great and really set off the looks of the motor.
I got them back in Oct. but just put them on last week and started the engine. Had a fan blowing on them like it said to do but the headers got red and coating shattered and tured dark.
I thought I was SOL but Dynomax is sending a new set for me to put on then I send the others back.
I thought this was great so I will only have 1 day down instead of 2 weeks.
This never happens you know!!!
Just thought I would pass on info about a good company taking care of its customers.

Matt,
Glad they are taking care of the headers. Now ... find out why they were glowing and fix it before you start the engine again. Probably not enough ignition timing. If the headers are glowing red, so are your exhaust valves

The timing was way off and the fuel pressure was to high. I got it all set up and running good now. Just have a slight hesatation when hitting the gas at any speed. Any ideas?
Thanks, Matt.

Which part number did you get? What is your set-up, A/C, Power steering, BB, SB, etc..?
