OK,

Big fan of the "guess what I have" attitude at the local STOP light drags. I am entertaining the idea of a blower and really love the benefits but cant seem to find one that will fit under the stock height cowl induction hood. Does anyone make one that does? I dont like the looks of a blower popping out of the hood, besides, like I said, love the "what the hellwas that" factor.

I know Vortech has this (http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/products/yourcar/small_block.html).

if you go with a centrifugal style, they should all fit under there. Procharger baby! graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Does B&M still make their street blower? Google turned up an Olds (http://www.cardomain.com/id/mcahan) with one under the hood, sorta... ;) A friend of mine ran one on an 80 model with an L-88 scoop and it cleared ok, but a stock cowl is going to be very tight if it fits at all. Anyway, that's the smallest roots type I'm aware of.

Mark, E-mail: corvettej@comcast.net He had an single 4-barrel blower on a SS350 that fit under a stock cowl hood. I think it was B&M. DW

I thought the Holley/Weiand 142, 144 (Holley and B&M) (and 177?) will fit under a stock cowl-hood...You will have to use a low profile air filter though. K&N sells them, so no problem here.

There has been some conversation about this before here, so try a search here for more info.

Goodluck and keep us updated :D
